The committee approved a planning proposal for an affordable housing contributions review. This included amendments to the City of Sydney Affordable Housing Program 2024 and several Local Environmental Plans for Sydney and Green Square.

The committee also considered a development application at 4-22 Wentworth Avenue, Surry Hills. The project includes the adaptive reuse of heritage warehouses, a new 13-storey tower at 4 to 6 and parts of 8 to 12 Wentworth Avenue, and a new two-storey podium at 10 to 12 and 16 to 22 Wentworth Avenue.

The development at Wentworth Avenue, Surry Hills will consist of retail and office uses and involves the amalgamation of five existing lots into one.
