Panel approves 5-11 Bridge Street application with an added condition

The panel approved development application D/2025/1335 for 5-11 Bridge Street, Sydney, subject to the conditions in the council officers' report and one additional condition. The vote was unanimous.
A speaker for the applicant told the panel the applicant supported the report and endorsed its conditions.
A panel member asked about suggestions in the accessibility report for ambulant toilets on the mezzanine level and tactile indicators for steps into banquette seats. The speaker said he had no concern about a condition on the matter.
The panel also unanimously approved the application for 98-106 Kippax Street, Surry Hills (D/2025/758). It changed one condition to require an operable window in the external breezeway wall of unit 602, to improve cross-ventilation.
