Councillor Weldon moved a motion to recognise Rabbi Geoffrey Kamins for his 37 years of service at the Emanuel Synagogue. The Lord Mayor agreed to write to Rabbi Kamins to acknowledge his contribution to the community.

The council unanimously approved a motion to support the Westerman Jilya Institute for Indigenous Mental Health. The council also carried a motion to review pedestrian safety on Marian Street in Redfern.

A motion to support the Enhanced Civilian Access Program at Victoria Barracks in Paddington was carried unanimously. The council also considered a project for supermarket access for residents at Town Hall Square in Sydney.

The council carried a motion on securing the Bidura development site in Glebe.
